Colonel Regina H. Komine

Col Regina H. Komine is the Vice Commander of the 154th Wing, Hawaii Air National Guard, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. She assists the commander in the implementation, maintenance, and oversight of all wing programs, providing leadership and mission support to units on four separate islands.

Col Komine began her military career in 2000, enlisting into the Headquarters, 154th Wing Comptroller section as a Financial Services Specialist. In 2003, she received her commission through the Academy of Military Science, McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base and started her officer career in the Headquarters, 154th Wing as a Public Affairs Officer. In addition to serving as the Wing Public Affairs Officer, she was also assigned as the Hawaii State Department of Defense Deputy Public Affairs Officer and later selected for an MPA tour as the Chief of Public Affairs Plans for Pacific Air Forces. In 2009 she was selected as the Headquarters, Hawaii Air National Guard Director of Personnel and then later served as the 154th Force Support Squadron Commander and then the 154th Logistics Squadron Commander. Following her command assignments she was selected as the 154th Wing’s Director of Staff and dual-hatted as the Hawaii National Guard’s Joint Staff Director of Personnel. Prior to her current assignment, she served as the 154th Mission Support Group Deputy Commander.
