Recently elected Hawaii governor appoints new TAG and DAG Published Jan. 5, 2015 By Senior Airman Orlando Corpuz 154 Wing Public Affairs HONOLULU, Hawaii -- Recently elected Hawaii Governor David Ige announced on Dec. 31, 2014, the appointment of a new adjutant general and deputy adjutant general. The announcement marks the end of service as Hawaii TAG and DAG for the Hawaii Air National Guard's Maj. Gen. Darryll D. Wong and Brig. Gen. Joseph K. Kim, respectively. Army Col. Arthur "Joe" Logan will serve as adjutant general. Logan is currently serving as director of operations/G3, Hawaii Army National Guard (HIARNG), a position he has held since October 2013. Army Col. Kenneth Hara will join Logan as deputy adjutant general. Hara is the chief of the Joint Staff for the Hawaii National Guard where he is responsible for day-to-day operations. The New Year's Eve announcements were part of an appointment of 7 new cabinet members as the newly elected Ige seeks to fill his cabinet for his term as Governor of the State of Hawaii.
