Innovative Readiness Training
Capt. Loken Patel, dentist 7202nd Medical Support Unit, an Army Reserve unit from Richmond, Va. inpsects and cleans the teeth of two-year-old Makaiah Jo Rose Reed. Makaiah was one of the over 150 people seen by dental personnel during the Innovative Readiness Training on Oahu, Mar. 14-24. The Hawaii Air National Guard coordinated the IRT, which is a mission designed to meet the training requirements for the National Guard and Reserve with the medical and health needs of Hawaii?s medically-underserved communities.
