109th Air Operations Group Activates
Lt Colonel Robert J. Hoffman, III, the first Commander of Detachment 4, HQ Hawaii Air National Guard (202nd Air Mobility Operations Squadron) accepts the Squadron guidon from Maj. Gen. Darryll D.M. Wong, Commander of the Hawaii Air National Guard. The 202nd AMOS is a part of the HIANG, 109th Air Operation Group activated on 2 November, 2008. It is the only ANG AOC augmentation unit co-located with their active duty unit.
