Hawaii National Guard hosts the Vigilant Gaurd/Makani Pahili 2015 exercise
Hawaii National Guardsmen track a simulated hurricane during the exercise Vigilant Guard/Makani Pahili 2015 at the Joint Task Force 5-0 command center in the Hawaii National Guard (HING) Diamond Head Headquarters, Hawaii on June 1, 2015. The exercise provides an opportunity for the State of Hawaii and National Guard to improve collaborative efforts in regards to emergency preparation, coordination, response and recovery with federal, regional, local, civilian and military partners during domestic emergencies and catastrophic events.
